Description:
The vacuum pump creates a negative pressure in the cylinder around the penis. This fills the erectile tissue with blood and causes the penis to stiffen. One of the tourniquets is then slipped over the penis shaft. It prevents the blood from flowing back when the cylinder is removed and thus maintains the erection. With an erection maintained in this way, normal and satisfying sexual intercourse is possible.
