Characteristics
The ALVA BC640 is a very small and lightweight Braille display. To be used with Dolphin and Jaws screen reader software. You can work wirelessly via Bluetooth or use a USB cable to connect to a PC, iPhone, PDA or Smartphone. The ergonomic design ensures pleasant operation. A Braille Audio Module can be connected to the Braille display, which makes it possible to type text in Braille that is received by a PC, IPhone, PDA or Smartphone and to receive the audio such as a speech synthesizer from these equipment. This gives you complete control over your PC, PDA or Smartphone when working wirelessly.
By installing a memory pen with Dolphin screen reader software in the ALVA BC640, it is possible to work directly on a PC without screen reader software installed.
