Description:
The rolling board is a sliding board with Teflon rolling cloth for transferring patients or female patients at the same heights between bed and bed, or stretcher and bed. There are different versions and sizes. According to the instruction manual, the patient is turned slightly on his or her side and placed back on the approaching rolling board. By applying light pressure with both hands against the patient's hip and shoulder, the sliding surface of the rolling shelf is set in motion and the patient is moved in this way up to a maximum of 90 cm. Only one caregiver is required for repositioning with the help of the rolling shelf.
In the case of a severely injured or disabled person, the use of a pull sheet and two caregivers is recommended.
