This orthosis is the alternative to the air chamber splint due to the combination between air and removable gel padding with simultaneous cold therapy
- lateral twisting is prevented
- normal flexion is hardly restricted
- decongestant and pain-relieving effect
Features / Components:
- Ankle splint with removable gel pad
- gel pad adapts to the ankle
- pad can be fixed with Velcro fasteners
- a cotton stocking should be worn under the splint
- for cold therapy, pad for approx. 2 hours in the refrigerator
- for heat therapy, place pads in a hot water bath
- clean with lukewarm soapy water and water
- ingredients are non-toxic
Versions:
- the orthosis is available in two sizes (23.5 or 25.3 cm length)
