Description:
The Ypsilon keeps the heel and thus also the Achilles tendon free. This ensures a natural range of movement of the heel bone during the gait phases. The proprioception is improved by the dynamic elements. The proximal tibia support offers patients with injuries to the sensory nerves a large free space in the area of the tibia edge. The Ypsilon allows a high flexibility and free lateral movement in the ankle area and enables an activation and strengthening of the muscles. The orthosis improves the rolling movement in the middle stance phase.
