The Swing Phase Lock 2 (SPL 2) knee joint is used both in whole-leg as well as in knee orthoses for the care of patients with knee extensor insufficiency. The fully automatic locking during the stance phase and free movement during the swing phase ensure a physiological gait pattern. This prevents incorrect posture and the resulting damage to the posture and musculoskeletal system. The knee joint is available in two versions for bilateral and monolateral treatment. In addition, we also offer the production of a complete full-leg carbon orthosis with the SPL 2 (Swing Phase Lock 2 - COST full-leg carbon orthosis).
