Description:
The SAFEasy series of optoelectronic protective devices provides non-contact finger protection, hand protection or body protection on machines. The device, consisting of a transmitter and a receiver, provides protection of the protected area by generating an infrared protective field, defined by the protective field height and protective field width. When the protective field is penetrated, two outputs (OSSD) open and cause the monitored machine to assume a safe state. Interruption of one or more infrared beams immediately triggers the safe shutdown command.
