Description:
The battery-operated system comprises a light exoskeleton that can be worn on the body with motors and movement sensors on the hip and knee joints. The ReWalker makes it possible to stand upright, to walk and to go up and down stairs.
A forward bend of the upper body triggers the first step. Repeated shifting of body weight triggers a series of steps that imitate the normal movement of the legs.
