Description:
The Hieronymus Lorm hand-signing system is a way for the deafblind to communicate with their fellow human beings. The Lormen is a system of typing, stroking, and drumming letters into the palm of the hand using strokes and dots. In this way, letters are strung together to form words, which are then formed into a sentence. The advantage is that you can communicate in your usual language. You just have to learn where exactly on the palm of your hand the individual letters are placed. Learning this requires concentration and practice.
With the app Lern Lormen, Lormen can be relearned and practiced further. In order to learn the hand alphabet in small steps, the app was built according to the tried and tested principle of the letter groups from the Lormen courses.
