Description:
The system was developed for people who, due to a physical disability, cannot use the right pedal when playing the piano can operate in the usual way. The system is built into the instrument and adapted to the special needs and capabilities of the pianist.
It consists of a magnet (solenoid), a control unit, a power supply unit and a set of cables. The goal is to have the movement of another part of the body kicked by the right foot instead of pedaling. How this happens varies from person to person.
The activation can be triggered by a switch with the knee or with the mouth. You can squeeze a small, flexible plastic ball with your mouth, from which an air pressure pulse is sent via a hose to a pressure-sensitive switch.
Operation via a toggle switch in a headband is also possible.
In the picture you can see the magnet that is in a Piano is built in. When the control is actuated, the magnet moves the pedal pusher up, just as the pedal lever would. Because the instruments are designed differently, the attachment may vary.
In all cases, the dampers can also be controlled with the foot at the same time. And it can be built into all pianos and grand pianos.
