Description:
The electrically controlled eating robot is intended for people without, or with limited arm, hand and/or finger function. The eating robot has an automatic and semi-automatic mode. In automatic mode, a meal can be eaten without the use of hands or fingers. In semi-automatic mode, the user has a greater choice of operation. In most cases, a single-button operation is used. Other options would include joystick operation, the user's own smartphone, or environmental control.
The iEAT eating robot does not require complicated menus when personal adaptations are required. The eating robot's adaptations can be made by the user himself or by people in his environment.
