Edge filter goggles are worn when glare sensitivity is increased - over regular glasses if needed - to reduce glare. Edge filters absorb portions of visible light that adversely affect visual performance.

Edge filter glasses can be combined with polarizing lenses (e.g. for epilepsy).

- improved contrast vision and minimization of glare by blocking UV light and short-wave, high-energy light components
- available in the self-tinting variant active, in tints 15%, 65%, 85%, polarizing 75% and gradient 50-15%, suitable for indoor and outdoor use
- ambelis active self-tinting lenses protect the eye in all light conditions
- polarizing models roadworthy only during the day, all other models not roadworthy
- ventilation slits against fogging between temple and middle part
- available in various frame models and sizes or as pre-hanger
- also available as XL frame to put over your own prescription frame (special anti-glare frames with extra deep frame rim on top and wide set temples with side windows)
