Additional information
- The Mercury 12 is an easy to transport display magnifier with a reading function based on a Windows Surface tablet.
- The whole is foldable into a flat unit without the tablet having to be detached. A normal laptop bag is enough to transport the Mercury 12.
- By using a Windows 10 tablet, the Mercury 12 can be used as a laptop with all common software.
- The magnification program with voice output iZoom Magnifier / Reader is already installed.
- Pre-purchased magnification software or screen readout program can be installed on the Mercury 12 Window tablet.
- The text display can be presented in different color combinations.
- The device has a 5 megapixels camera and LED lighting.
- For classroom use (or similar) an optional distance camera with an optical zoom of 21x can be connected. The camera is wirelessly connected and stands on a swiveling gooseneck.
- Split screen capability is provided.
- You control the device via a menu with large and contrastrich icons on the touch screen.
- A complete A4 page can be read at once. The read word is highlighted so that it is easier to follow the text.
- The reading speed and volume are adjustable. Dutch is available as a reading language.
- A connection for headphones is provided.
