Description
- The Irisvision can best be described as a portable magnifying glasses based on a Samsung smartphone and VR glasses that completely covers both eyes. The smartphone cannot be used for calling or texting.
- The Irisvision is intended for visually impaired people (eg Macular Degeneration) to read, do crafts and watch television.
- The camera of the smartphone captures the image that is then edited where the magnification can be set.
- The available field of vision is 70 degrees.
- A virtual 'ball' can be displayed within the image (IrisBubble) within which extra magnification of a part of the image is displayed.
- The reading mode is always black and white to achieve maximum contrast.
- A touch field and two push buttons are available on the left side of the glasses. They are used to choose the mode, to freeze the image (take a photo) and to adjust the brightness and magnification.
- YouTube videos can be viewed via a WiFi connection (version 3.0).
- The Irisvision 3.0 can also be operated with spoken commands.
- From version 3.0, text recognition is also offered with which printed text can be read.
- Charging can also be done wirelessly via a special charging station.
- Included: carrying bag, charger, magnetic charging cable and wireless charging station<
