Description:
Patients can have their lower extremities moved by the MOTOmed letto2 in the nursing bed or on the therapy lounger for early mobilization, or motor-assisted as well as actively exercised. Here, the patient's legs are safely supported. Especially in inpatient use, during haemodialysis and increasingly in home care, the strengths of the MOTOmed movement therapy lie in lying. Four transport castors make the bed model flexible. A spreader chassis and a gas spring-supported stepless height adjustment simplify the adaptation to beds and loungeres. The floor restraint allows quick positioning. Knee flexion can be adjusted via the knee flexion adjustment.
Spasticity release program:
If a muscle spasm, spasticity or movement blockage (freezing) occurs during training, this function stops the pedal movement. It does not matter how the basic tension of the muscles changes, the movement protection does not remain constant, but automatically adapts to any change. This function is implemented in all MOTOmed models by a sensitive sensor system.
Spasticity:
This function works closely together with the movement protection and can loosen and release detected spasms or cramps. The basis for the development of such a function is the following therapeutic principle: flexion spasticity is released by stretching and extension spasticity by bending. The automatic change of rotation direction of the spasticity loosening program can loosen the cramps detected by the movement protection. If a cramp occurs, the motor gently stops the crank movement. Legs or arms are relieved and after a rest period the direction of rotation is gently changed. This process is repeated until the cramp is relieved.
ServoTreten:
Similar to a bicycle with an auxiliary motor, the MOTOmed ServoTreten function supports the user in persample forming active movement. The function enables the user to persample form an active movement even with the least amount of own strength. Residual muscle strengths can be identified and built up without excessive effort.
Symmetry Training:
The Symmetry Training function unfolds its beneficial effect when it is a question of strengthening the weaker side in a targeted manner. The presentation of the function differs depending on the model. In the MOTOmed viva 2 models, the user can see from a 2-bar diagram how much of the strength he is using is on the left or right side of the body. With the MOTOmed muvi, this function is displayed via an animated figure. This graphic display enables the user to use his "weaker" side of the body in a targeted manner during training. Symmetry training prevents overloading of the healthy extremities.
Training feedback:
All MOTOmed models provide the user with a wide range of training feedback. Training values such as duration, distance, symmetry, total metabolic rate, tone, the average and maximum active power as well as the active and passive training percentage can be read on the screen by the user both in real time, during the training and as an overall evaluation after the training.
