Description:
People in wheelchairs with a healthy upper body do not require any assistance on this carousel. The rotating mechanism is located below ground level so that the entrance to the carousel is level. The long lever arm of the roll-back bar is designed to be stable so that other children can sit on it. It is also used to operate the parking brake. The counterweight ensures easy operation of the roll-back bar. The parking brake and anti-rollback device can be operated by people in wheelchairs without staff. The swivel mechanism is only released when both brackets are closed.
