Description
Product Type:
Room-saving door and door for people with disabilities
Areas of Application:
- barrier-free areas
- e.g. hospitals, facilities for people with disabilities or public buildings
- swimming pools and indoor swimming pools, freeway service areas
Description:
The advantage for people with disabilities results from the ergonomically favorable opening course of the room-saving door. For wheelchair users, the door handle always remains within reach. The movement sequence for opening and closing the door is identical to that of a conventional swing door. This makes it easier for people with learning difficulties to operate the door compared to the unfamiliar use of a manual sliding door.
Features / components:
The Küffner barrier-free room-saving door can be installed in any standard door frame. Retrofitting as a renovation element is also possible in any existing door frame. Due to the special door construction, the clear frame passage is restricted by approx. 85 mm when the door leaf is open.
- on request also with top panel or fixed transom and skylight
- to be integrated without visual restrictions
- the door opens on one side
- the door thereby turns only 1/3 of the total door leaf width into the room
- high durability (continuous function test with 500,000 opening cycles)
- depending on requirements as tubular or solid chip interior door
- as wet room door in solid plastic design
