Description:
The respiratory protection function ensures clean and comfortable welding. The combination of technical measures and personal respiratory protection equipment reduces exposure compared to mobile or stationary welding fume extraction systems.
The constant air flow provides purified air that displaces heat from the mask and counteracts perspiration. The motor unit passes the air through pre-filters and particle filters (and gas filters, if used) to filter out respiratory hazards. It then directs the air into the welding mask via the air hose. Mask seals and a constant nominal flow rate ensure that no unfiltered air enters the mask.
After the welding process is completed, the blackout is automatically canceled.
