The LPS manufacturing assistance system is used for the identification, localization and positioning of tools in assembly processes using ultrasonic technology.

QualityAssist:
The QualityAssist is used for error-free processes at manual workstations. It works like an electronic work instruction, which itself ensures compliance. First, the correct work steps are taught in the correct sequence. Then, both the quality-relevant hand movements of the workers and the position of tools are observed, guided without contact and corrected if necessary.
Local Positioning System:
In the Local Positioning System, several transmitters send their ultrasonic signals into the work environment from the wrist of the person carrying the workpiece or similar. The receiver unit calculates the exact position of the individual transmitters from the propagation time of the signals. It thus identifies, localizes and positions the workpieces with an accuracy of 1 mm.
PositionBox:
The PositionBox determines the 3D position of handling systems or tools without length and angle measuring systems. The evaluation and display of the spatial coordinates takes place in the customer system. With digital I/Os and Ethernet interface.
Furthermore, the company offers various expansion options (accessories and software modules). The required scope is coordinated customer-specific.
