For situations in which only one or two fingers can be moved, for example, "TalkTable" for macOS offers an effective communication option. Here, only the macOS switch control (Next, Select) is used by means of freely definable physical switches. The software runs in the background and, unlike "VirtuSwitch", has no eye/head/gyro control and no virtual screen buttons. The TalkTable package includes a talking alphabet board with word prediction.
Buttons connected via the switch interface, (ergo) mice and computer keyboard keys can be used.
