Description:
The scissors replace conventional mechanical scissors when fine motor limitations no longer allow them to be used or cutting is too strenuous. Depressing the handle is all that is needed and the blade moves to cut through paper or light fabrics.
In partner work, even users with the slightest or uncoordinated movements can activate the scissors. It is sufficient if users can trigger external buttons or sensors.
The caregiver simply guides the electric scissors through the material, and the actual users switch the scissors on and off using the connected pushbutton.
With the pushbutton plugged in, the scissors can only operate as long as the handle and the pushbutton are operated together.
