With the EasyLink12 Touch you can read books, listen to music, manage appointments and contacts, read and write e-mails.
Wherever you are, the EasyLink12 Touch works seamlessly with iPhone, iPad and iPod and provides Braille access to thousands of apps.
In addition to the six Braille input keys, two navigation keys and one joystick, the EasyLink12 Touch has 12 Braille cells with touch cursor routing.
Moving the finger upwards activates the cursor routing. The EasyLink12 Touch is connected to the device via Bluetooth.
The EasyLink12 Touch can also work without a paired device; there is a storage capacity of 500 characters for making short notes.
Training with Apple iPhone and iPad
The EasyLink12 Touch works with Apple products. These Apple products are popular for their accessibility with VoiceOver.
In addition to VoiceOver speech, the iPhone and iPad can be linked to a display. To make optimal use of this combination, Optelec offers the training 'Use of iPhone / iPad with a reading line'. These are reading rules with Bluetooth capability such as the ALVA BC640, Esys12, EasyLink12 (Touch) and the Baum Pronto. Knowledge of VoiceOver is not necessary but is recommended.
