2. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

2.1. IDENTIFICATION DATA AND CONTACT DETAILS

In some events you may provide voluntarily your personal identification data (e.g. name, surname) and contact details (including e-mail address), e.g. when you submit a request for information or submit a request to include a product on the Web Site. Providing such data is essential to allow us, or our contacts, to send you the requested information or to verify the submission of a product and to manage it.

Providing your personal data is optional, however missing your personal data we cannot follow up your request or manage your submission of new products. The processing of personal data for the purposes above does not require your specific consent as it is necessary to respond to your request.

2.2. BROWSING INFORMATION

You can browse the Web Site and use its tools without any prior registration to the Web Site.

The information system and software used to operate this Web Site may collect personal data connected with the use of Internet protocols. Information may include the following:

- URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of your queries,

4. RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data are processed only by identified and authorized personnel who is bound by confidentiality obligations and have been properly instructed.

In some cases, for the pursuit of the purposes described above, we rely on third party service providers. In such cases, we ensure that these providers offer sufficient guarantees on compliance of their processing with the requirements under the applicable law.

Our hosting provider (Fondazione Don Gnocchi ONLUS) provides us with hosting services at their premises in Milan, via Capecelatro 66, Italy, as data processor.

If you submit a request or a product, your identification and contact details will be made available to the relevant contact points in the country(ies) to which the request or the submission of the product refers, who will contact you directly to follow up the request/submission of the product. A list of contact points in the different countries is available in the “About us” section. If the country relevant for the submission is outside the European Economic Area, unless that country already offers adequate guarantees in the opinion of the European Commission, we ensure that the transfer is made under adequate guarantees, being understood that such transfer is necessary to comply with your request.

The contact point that will address your request or submission will act as autonomous controllers; therefore we encourage you to read their privacy policy to learn how they can process your personal data.

Personal data may also be disclosed to the competent authorities, upon a lawful request, for prosecution of crimes or in cases provided by the law.


5. STORAGE PERIOD OF PERSONAL DATA

The personal data collected in order to respond to requests/submission of products will be deleted immediately after we have processed your request and passed your data to the relevant contact point.

For the storage of cookies, please refer to point 3.

Personal data may be stored for longer periods of time where necessary to exercise or defend legal rights, or to comply with a legitimate request by a public authority. In any case, personal data will be kept for the time strictly necessary to pursue these purposes.
