- The VO-Box is a compact device that provides large and contrast-rich subtitles when watching television.
- The VO-Box is connected between the digital decoder (TV receiver) and the TV set.
- The magnification works with all channels and picture sources. With regular (live) TV programs, recorded programs, missed broadcasts, Netflix, etc., the subtitles are immediately enlarged with the contrast of your choice.
- All incoming images are scanned by the VO-Box. If the picture quality is good enough, the text of the subtitles is extracted and displayed enlarged.
- The VO-Box can be set with the supplied remote control. After that, no more operation is needed; the VO-Box automatically follows the program or station you are watching via the decoder.
- The magnification can be set in steps: no magnification (only a contrast window) or 1.33 times or 1.66 times or 2 times.
- There is also the option to reduce the subtitles by a factor of 0.66 times.
- The contrast colors can be chosen from different combinations: white on black, black on white, yellow on black and black on yellow.
- With the remote control, various settings (magnification, contrast colors) can be set via a large menu on the screen, including the font (choice from 7 types).
- The position of the subtitles can be selected: centered in the middle or aligned left.
- Wireless bluetooth headphones can be connected via the included USB dongle.
- When upgrading from a GO-Box with VO-Box functionality and vice versa, only one of the two functions (magnification or speech) can be used. So you cannot speak enlarged subtitles.
- The VO-Box can be connected to the internet to receive updates. But the internet is not necessary for the operation of the VO-Box.
- The enlargement usually does not work with old DVDs and video tapes because the picture quality (resolution) is too low.
- There is no subscription fee to be paid.
