Description
The Modular Evolution has been developed for the professional braille user. The modular makes every workplace optimally accessible and also holds its own in specific educational situations.
With the Modular Evolution you can follow in detail how the braille reading behavior of the user is. You can also make quicker and more targeted adjustments with Braille instructions. If a student reads specific letters or words more slowly, for example, additional training can be provided. This achieves a greatly improved learning curve.
The individual components of the Modular concept
The Modular Evolution is available in 2 versions: 88 or 64 cells. The reading surface is equipped with the revolutionary “Active Tactile Control” (ATC). The force that the fingers exert on the braille points is continuously measured, which makes it possible, for example, to automatically scroll through when you reach the end of the reading line with your fingers. It is also possible to have the letter or word pronounced under your fingers and to measure your reading speed. In short, ATC gives an extra dimension to controlling a PC.
In addition to ATC, the Braille display has several other control components:
2 triple function keys (left / right) optimally placed at the beginning and end of the reading line
8 extra ergonomically placed function keys
88 or 64 cursor routing keys
3 extra USB ports for various extra external options
4 GB internal memory so that all data is always accessible
