Eye control for electric wheelchairs

Description:
In connection with various eye controls, the person in the wheelchair is able to control an electric wheelchair with his eyes with the help of an app.
The computer of the eye control is connected to the Ecc control module via a USB cable. With the 3.5 mm jack plugs, the wheelchair is directly coupled with the Ecc control module.
With the Ecc app, the command path from the eye to the wheelchair is monitored. This ensures a physical connection to the wheelchair without touching it. If a malfunction occurs in an emergency, the chair stops, just as it does when the joystick is released.
Only specially trained companies are allowed to set up a new system. These are then certified by HomeBrace and the wheelchair manufacturer.

Examples of the monitoring function:
- The person in the wheelchair slips and the camera no longer detects an eye.
- The infrared radiation from sunlight overlays the light from the camera.
- The PC (Windows) of the eye control hangs up.
- One of the plug connections is loosened.
