Description:
The system is used to mobilize secretions by means of high-frequency oscillation of the thoracic wall. The therapy device "The Vest" consists of an inflatable vest and a ventilation unit, which is connected to the respective vest via two connecting tubes. The Vest airway clearance system facilitates the removal of retained secretions due to acute and chronic respirators illnesses. It can assist with airway clearance in patients with airway dysfunction, retained secretions and/or ineffective coughing or removal of secretions due to immobility, muscle wasting or muscle weakness. The product supports the mobilization of pulmonary secretions through thoracic high frequency oscillation (HFCWO) therapy. With a focus on the requirements of acute care, it makes breathing easier for patients.
