The snore stopper covers the mouth opening and thus prevents air from escaping through the mouth during CPAP ventilation through the nose. It helps to maintain positive pressure in the airways and keep the airways clear, thus preventing oral snoring. Due to the size of the mouthpiece, swallowing is not possible.
