Description:
Simeox is a vibration device for thoracic use, consisting of the device with generator and an exhalation kit (mouthpiece, tube, bacterial filter). The device builds up negative pressure pulses in a short time sequence with a frequency and thus generates vibrations in the lower airways, whereby secretions can be loosened, mobilised and transported towards the central airways.
The intensity of the negative pressure pulses can be adjusted. The frequency of exhalations in a therapy cycle and a change to a lower vibration frequency during a therapy cycle can also be set. The device settings must be adjusted by the doctor or physiotherapist.
