The digital pen for writing on tablets is suitable for drawing, sketching, coloring, taking notes, annotating PDFs, etc. due to its low latency.
A touch surface on the pen itself supports double-tapping to change tools (e.g. to eraser) without having to put the pen down. The stylus was specially developed for the iPad Pro and iPad Air. A flat side on the stylus allows it to adhere magnetically to the iPad, enabling automatic charging and pairing. The weight and grip are similar to conventional pens.
