Verur a worn artificial eye mild discomfort in the eye socket. The surface of the prosthesis, which has become rough, can severely irritate the eye socket. The first sign that the prosthesis needs to be replaced is increased tear flow. The eye socket becomes red and in the further course there may be a thick, yellowish discharge.
