Description:
The Cryo Fluid contains millions of microspheres filled with kerosene wax that melt at a set temperature. Since the skin temperature is warmer than the ambient temperature of the Cryo Fluid, heat is actively transferred from the skin into the fluid. This leads to a lowering of the skin temperature in the therapeutic range.
In addition to microspheres, graphite is also used because it is able to distribute heat in the fluid. This heat distribution extracts heat from the skin until all microspheres have melted. This results in a cooling effect that can last up to eight hours. The Cryo Fluid microspheres naturally resolidify after the fluid returns to room temperature.
The cushion is designed to slightly cool the skin in a temperature range of 29 degrees to 35 degrees C, reducing the risk of skin damage occurring.
The anatomically shaped foam base is made of a multi-layer closed cell cold foam that adapts to the contours of the body. The pelvic recess in the rear area is closed all around and thus prevents the migration of fluid to the outside. At the same time, it provides gentle support for the trochanters and the rear pelvis.
