This device enables the user to assume and maintain an upright position, and to move around indoors independently. It has an elongated seat to help the user transfer from the wheelchair to the aid.The user is lifted by means of a rechargeable battery-powered electric motor operatedby hand control. It is also provided with a Joystick unit and two motors that allow for the transfer to be carried out unaided.
