The adapter for one-handed operation offers the possibility to mount 2 brake levers in parallel. However, in order to be able to grip both brake levers at the same time, the distance between the two levers is usually too large.
The supplier only mounts the adapter on recumbent trikes with a twin brake as the main brake and a single brake that only serves as an emergency and parking brake. They do not recommend this component for mounting on a two-wheeler. It creates the problem of not being able to provide satisfactory support on the handlebars when braking hard with one hand. Also, the front and rear brake can not be dosed separately in such an application.
