Description:
The Cryo Fluid contains millions of microspheres that are filled with kerosene wax and melt at a set temperature. As the skin temperature is warmer than the ambient temperature of the Cryo Fluid, the heat is actively transferred from the skin into the fluid. This leads to a lowering of the skin temperature in the therapeutic range.
In addition to microspheres, graphite is also used as it is able to distribute heat in the fluid. This heat distribution draws heat from the skin until all the microspheres have melted. This results in a cooling effect that can last up to eight hours. The Cryo Fluid microspheres solidify again naturally after the fluid has returned to room temperature.
The cushion has been developed to cool the skin slightly in a temperature range of 29 degrees to 35 degrees C, thus reducing the risk of skin damage occurring.
The anatomically shaped foam base consists of a multi-layer closed cold foam that adapts to the contours of the body. The pelvic recess in the rear area is closed all the way round, preventing fluid migration to the outside. At the same time, it provides gentle support for the trochanters and the rear pelvis.
