Description:
Clamping devices enable workpieces to be fastened, positioned and changed quickly and with assurance. Pneumatic clamps have the following advantages over manual clamps: The operator is relieved of frequent clamping. Several clamps can be operated simultaneously and can be closed in a specific sequence. Individual or multiple clamps can be actuated from different locations by machine control or manual control.
The toggle lever system
- keeps the clamp closed even in the event of an air failure
- the air consumption is low due to the large final transmission
- a large opening travel is achieved by swivelling the clamping arm
- optimum strength and movement ratios are achieved.
