Description
Product Type:
Hand drive for tricycles
Areas of Application:
- Foot disability
- Conversion of a tricycle to hand drive
Description:
The handbike module is a concept in which a single assembly turns a foot bicycle into a hand bicycle.
The fully encapsulated hand drive is mounted on the tricycles from HP Velotechnik.
The two basic vehicles Scorpion fs 20 and Gekko fx 26 are suitable for poor roads due to their full suspension.
The hand drive including gears and cable pulls is housed in a closed casing. In this way, contact with rotating and oily drive parts is avoided.
The vehicles have a small turning circle.
Hands-On-Cycle can be smoothly adapted for people between 1.60 and 2.00 m tall and with arm lengths of 70 to 94 cm. Optimizations are possible in all three dimensions. The length adjustment range of the Hands-On-Cycle unit in the main frame is 6 cm. The footrest can be extended by up to 14 cm.
The mast has an adjustment angle of 14 degrees. The grip width can be varied between 52 and 62 cm. The seat systems offer another option for adaptations.
