Description:
The E-MAG Active was developed for users who are unable to secure their knee joint with their own strength due to partial paralysis or a total loss of knee-extending muscles. While walking, an intelligent sensor system measures the position of the leg and switches the orthosis joint accordingly. The knee joint is automatically opened during walking - the leg can swing through. The PreLock function secures the knee joint for the stance phase, even if full leg extension has not yet been achieved. E-MAG Active facilitates safe standing and natural walking.
Even users who do not have any functions in the ankle joint of the foot are able to use E-MAG Active.
