Description:
The tool, which is based on VR goggles, enables the analysis of workplaces in a virtual factory. After setting up the virtual environment in Halocline Layout, movement sequences are recorded through free interaction with the workstation and various process variants are run through. This is followed by an ergonomics analysis with visualization of walking and reaching paths to optimize the workplace design.
Adaptations can be made directly in the tool and tested iteratively. The integration of CAD data increases realism. Critical situations can be coordinated directly in VR or via video together with occupational assurance and team leaders. Calibrations allow different body sizes to be compared.
