Description:
Children listen to a text from a CD in headphones (moving from ear to ear). At the same time, they silently read the text in their text book with the same words.
Your child then speaks the same text into the microphone. They now hear their own voice moving from ear to ear. In the third step, your child listens to the text from the CD and speaks (reads) into the microphone at the same time. Your own voice and the other person's voice are always heard in opposite directions; both move from ear to ear here too.
By listening to their own voice and the other person's voice at the same time as a model, children automatically learn to understand language better. Vocabulary, pronunciation and spelling are among the skills that lateral training specifically promotes.
