Description:
The BIBER arm trainers were developed for the therapy of people whose arm and hand functions are impaired as a result of a stroke or other neurological illnesses.
The various modules of the BIBER arm trainers enable patients to perform repetitive training with the aim of relearning lost arm and hand functions. They are designed in such a way that both bilateral training (unaffected side moves the affected side) and training of just one arm is possible.
The BIBER arm trainers can be combined to form an arm laboratory with up to eight stations for group therapy or circuit training. The complex functions of the arm and hand are reduced to simple movements.
The BIBER arm trainers can be used in an early rehabilitation phase. Supporting assistive products for this are the BIBER-Helparm to relieve the paretic arm, the glove to restrain the hand and the balancers to adjust the traction force.
