Ortopad eye plasters have been specially developed for occlusion therapy in children. They offer a large selection of colorful motifs and, according to the manufacturer, have excellent adhesive properties and skin compatibility and are therefore easy to remove.
When children or babies squint, for example, ophthalmologists, in collaboration with an orthoptist, often recommend temporarily masking an eye with a special eye occlusion plaster. This allows vision to be trained in a targeted manner. Ortopad eye patches are suitable for this purpose. They are made of a skin-friendly non-woven fabric, are latex-free and adapt to the shape of the child's face thanks to their anatomical shape with nasal slits. The special hot-melt adhesive is hypoallergenic.
