Description:
tipstim is designed to improve the sense of touch and mobility of the hand in rehabilitation after brain damage, such as stroke, or rarer neurological illnesses, such as complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). It was developed in collaboration with the Institute for Neuroinformatics at the Ruhr University Bochum and is a clinically tested medical device approved in accordance with the European medical device standard.

The corresponding glove (tipstim glove) is simply connected to the tipstim pulse generator, the glove is put on the affected side and the pulse generator is switched on. The application takes one hour and should be carried out once a day. According to the manufacturer, it is completely painless and has no side effects and can easily be carried out at home - even with limited mobility.
