Superficial breathing can lead to insufficient ventilation of the deeper areas of the lungs. Particularly in elderly or bedridden patients, secretions, especially mucus, accumulate in the lower areas of the lungs as a result. This favors an infection of the lung tissue. To prevent this, this breathing trainer should be used several times a day. It is used for independent and controlled breathing exercises, primarily for bedridden patients.
The product is for single-person use only. The training must be coordinated with the doctor or therapist.
