What is the Audiokrant?
The Audiokrant is the spoken version of the regular paper newspaper. Every time a paper newspaper is published, Kamelego vzw also makes an audio version of this newspaper available to our subscribers.
When you read the newspaper with the anderslezen app, the Audiokrant is not only read out loud, but you can also follow the spoken text on the screen. The voice of the Audiokrant is a synthetic speech, which means that text was converted into speech by Kamelego using a computer.
Thanks to this fast conversion, you can read the newspaper without delay, on the same day as the paper newspaper is published.
With one newspaper subscription at Kamelego, you can browse through all Flemish newspapers. You have unlimited access to the audio version of De Standaard, Het Nieuwsblad, Gazet van Antwerpen, Het Belang van Limburg, Het Laatste Nieuws, De Morgen and De Tijd!
Thanks to the DAISY structure, you can easily and quickly find the articles that interest you.
The Audiokrant costs 150 euros per year or 45 euros per 3 months.
