The Siss BabyControl plus monitor monitors the respiratory function of infants and young children and is an assistive products against sudden infant death syndrome. With the external signal transmitter, monitoring can also be carried out from the next room. Regular breathing is indicated by a light-emitting diode; any alarm is triggered visually and also acoustically.
A body sensor monitors the breathing rate. The Siss BabyControl plus monitor can distinguish between prolonged pauses in breathing and a regular breathing rhythm and triggers an alarm if a critical value is reached for individually adjustable parameters. The memory function saves all events to the second. The memory function is activated at all times and records the events on, off, reset, alarms of all types, breathing rate before and after each alarm. The values can then be read out on a PC.
