Description:
The ACV app is a breakdown assistance app that is also suitable for deaf people and people with speech impairments. The app is available on smartphones and tablets with the Android and iOS operating systems. With ACV, deaf drivers can request help at the touch of a button and stay in contact with the emergency call center without barriers using the chat function. GPS coordinates and personal information such as name, address and license plate number are automatically transmitted.
The user is always kept up to date during the process via status messages and is informed, for example, when the breakdown service vehicle is on its way. There are also other functions such as an accident checklist and step-by-step instructions for documenting an accident. There is also a practical search function for the nearest petrol station, including a navigation function.
Membership of ACV Automobil-Club Verkehr is required to use this app.
