Description:
WeWALK is a smart cane for the blind with obstacle detection and an integrated navigation device based on artificial intelligence. It can be used like a conventional cane, which also warns of obstacles above the chest area via vibration. In conjunction with the free barrier-free app, the range of functions is extended by many helpful features. The app can be operated via the touchpad without having to pick up the cell phone.
The barrier-free app has a navigation function, the option of calling up public transport timetables, for example, setting an exit alarm at the stop and displaying and saving locations (such as restaurants, stores, doctors' surgeries, supermarkets).
The cane has a microphone and loudspeaker to communicate quickly and directly with the app.
