Description:
"My own voice" is a speech synthesis software with integrated text editor and integrated sentence table for use as a communication aid in conjunction with a PC or tablet. The program makes it possible to convert any text entered into speech ('text-to-speech') and have it pronounced in German using the user's own voice. This requires voice recordings of the user before voice loss.
For people who are at risk of losing their voice: A voice recording lasting approximately three hours should be carried out first. At a later stage, when those affected can only express themselves with insufficient intelligibility, the recorded voice is inserted into a software program so that they can continue to communicate with their own voice.
