Description:
In IPPB therapy (Intermittent Positive Pressure Breathing), secretion membranes are loosened and the underlying lung areas are reventilated. Secretions are removed through ciliary activity and coughing. At the same time, atelectasis is opened.
The therapy strengthens the alveolar tissue pre- and postoperatively, promotes secretion mobilization, and prevents atelectasis. In addition, the device enables targeted medicated Pressure Support Inhalation (PSI) during inspiration, ensuring the aerosol reaches deep into the lungs even with weak breathing.
